Saint Joseph's University is Regionally Accredited—the highest level of accreditation a traditional college or university can obtain, and this accreditation is recognized throughout the country.

Our accreditation has been awarded by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is the unit of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools that accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in the Middle States region, which includes Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and several locations internationally.

Alpha Epsilon Lambda

Alpha Epsilon LambdaSaint Joseph's University is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda honor society, the nation's only graduate interdisciplinary honor society. Saint Joseph's Omega Chapter was chartered in 1996 and has a proud history of graduates acknowledged for their academic accomplishment and leadership skills. A minimum of a 3.85 GPA and recommendation by the Program Director is required for membership consideration.



2010 Gold Award

gold-awardSaint Joseph’s University was named the 2010 Gold Chapter, the highest recognition a collegiate chapter can earn through Beta Gamma Sigma. A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to one of the chapter’s outstanding student members.
